Inspirit the Game
Inspirit is a whimsical, 2.5D, two player couch-coop puzzle platformer. Designed and developed by Team Fireberry for Senior Project at Carleton University. As Lead Artist, I was responsible for the majority of the concepts, animations, designs, and 3D artwork.

Characters & Abilities
Fairy-like sprites Mai and Kula, from the mystical water forest, have been chosen to represent their respective tribes on an epic quest. They must undertake formidable trials and restore the heart of the Tree of Life to save their world.
Mai is the physical character who’s design was inspired by preying mantises and warriors. Her unique abilities are climbing up branches (Kula cannot) and cutting a single large object into two smaller versions.
Kula is the psychic character who’s design was inspired by jellyfish and oracles. Her unique abilities are swimming in the water (Mai cannot) and fusing two small identical objects into a large single version.
Introduction of character powers: Mai's magic cutting ability and Kula's fusing ability.
When a level is complete, bouncy mushrooms are used to navigate to the consecutive level.
Introduction of character terrains and limitations: Mai can climb but hates the water, Kula can swim but cannot climb.
The end of the game: Mai and Kula reach the magic panel and activate it together.
